To interpret the relocation of aura in her Internet artworks, I will separate the concept of aura into two parts: distance and authenticity. This separation is correspondent with the two definitions of aura that Benjamin presented in different ages, which I mentioned in my preface. 

 

However, I don’t want to view Benjamin’s concept as a static and unchanged concept. Many recent theoretical attempts, reinterpreting his concepts, or repurposing it into the digital culture and contemporary art, will be examined.
